Paper Presentation Guidelines
The following guidelines are for paper presenters to prepare their presentations in the CAADRIA 2026 paper sessions. It is required to download and use the template provided and carefully read the following guidelines.
Template usage:
- It is required to use the title slide in the template.
- Other template slides are provided for various layout styles and are optional.
General information:
- Each presentation is allocated 13 minutes: 8 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for Q&A.
- A maximum of 15 slides is recommended (excluding title and closing slides).
- You may use your own laptop for the presentation (all rooms are equipped with HDMI connectors).
- As a backup plan in case of unexpected glitches, please store your presentation file on a USB drive in both .pptx and .pdf formats.
- All presenters are required to test their presentation 10 minutes before the session starts and introduce themselves to the session chair. Technical staff will assist you in the room.
Presentation tips:
- Keep it concise: Stick to key points and research contributions. Avoid information overload.
- Engage your audience: Use compelling visuals and clear, structured slide.
- Avoid reading directly from slides: Use them as a visual aid rather than a script.
- Practice your timing: Aim for a smooth, well-paced delivery within the time limit.
- Be prepared for Q&A: Anticipate potential questions and prepare extra backup slides if needed.
